Greetings!!

We are delighted to announce that we will be starting to record our second album on June 4th 07. We have a fantastic producer lined up in LA and as soon as all the record company paperwork is signed off we'll announce who he/ she is but we are all very excited. Billy has writen around 25 new tracks and we will spend the next few months putting together what we hope will be a fantastic new Subways' album.

It has been a long wait for us all since coming off tour in Oct 06. Billy has battled hard with his vocal condition but is now 100% and raring to go. We may well do a few secret shows in London and LA over the coming 2 months, so keep an eye our myspace page.

We are currently working, with our manager and label, on ways to let you all know how recording is going. The current plan is three fold:-

1/ PODCASTS. Probably once every two weeks we are planning to record an interview with a guest presenter. The recording will then be put up on our sites so that you can download info on new songs and find out the latest news. We may include clips of new tracks as they progress.

2/ We have just signed up to TWITTER (www.twitter.com/thesubways). We are going to use this as a daily tool to let you all know what we are up to. If you sign up you can get either email or text messages regularly from one of us. We've also placed a link into our myspace page so that you can return the favour and we can read what you are doing.

3/ We'll also do MYSPACE blogs and email outs with photos of the studio etc as much as we can.

As many of you have already spotted we confirmed a slot at Reading and Leeds festivals which we are really excited about. It is going to be the start of the return of The Subways so make sure you get to the tent early and grab your spot. We'll be announcing some warm up shows in August shortly at some very intimate venues which will make for amazing shows so keep your eyes on the sites.
